Glenn Beck, the Man who lives in a glass house:

Glenn Beck, top rated "radio personality" on his Fox television show has attacked millions of Americans whom he had previously insulted on his radio show who are concerned with Obama’s refusal to open his pertinent records for public scrutiny which are relevant to his eligibility for holding the office of President of the United States. Beck’s treatment of his fellow Americans is shameful since they have a right to have access to, and full knowledge of, who our public officials are as well as their qualifications.

See Glenn Beck on birther issue: 'Dumbest thing I've ever heard' Claims controversy is political 'dream come true' for Obama the full story can be read at WordNetDaily: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=120992

First off, it is an incredibly dumb assertion on Glenn Beck’s part when he says that the people wanting to see Obama’s long form birth certificate are giving Obama “a political dream come true.” How this could be a dream come true for Obama who is the one that is actively suppressing the public release of documents? It seems to this writer that Glenn Beck is the one giving Obama a dream come true by supporting Obama’s refusal to release documents to the public. Obama has spent close to two million dollars fighting the release of his long form birth certificate. Why? Something is wrong Glenn!

Many Americans believe Obama's long form birth certificate (never released), his relocation to Indonesia as a youth when it was impossible to have dual citizenship, his travel to Pakistan in 1981 when Americans were strongly discouraged to travel there by the U.S. government (on what country’s passport did he use) and education records (along with who funded his education) are documents that we as tax payers have every right to see. Many of the questions and issues that have been raised surrounding these unreleased documents are absolutely legitimate. The argument that Obama is President and it is now too late to do anything about this issue is simply insulting. It remains true, when a politician refuses to release documents about his past, it is because there is something he does not want anyone to see. What is Obama hiding?

In addition to Beck calling his listeners and viewers dumb, he goes on to frame a question that is completely absurd or just plain confused. He says: “Why don’t we go after the things that are provable, after the things that actually you need to stop right now?” What could be more provable? Such things as a long form birth certificate and all other education records, passports, and possible dual citizenship documents are easily provable. Glenn is really confused, the public does not have to prove anything, Obama does. All Obama has to do is release these documents to the public. As mentioned, it is interesting that Obama has paid his lawyers a substantial amount of money to keep all of these easy to release documents hidden from public view. Let me say it again, the public does not have to prove anything, Obama does, that is why I call Glenn's question about provability absurd or just plain confused.

A little context, remember, the Democrats held hearings on John McCain’s eligibility to serve as President since he was born in Panama, so why the double standard between Obama and McCain on the eligibility issue? I for one quite frankly don’t like being told there is a document on file so shut up. I want the documents released for public inspection. I don’t like to be told by some unknown bureaucrat that everything is fine, end of story. Moreover, it is especially troubling when a conservative like Glenn Beck attacks his fellow conservatives for challenging Obama's lack of transparency.

I’m a layman, yet it is easy to see that there are serious issues and questions involved in this eligibility issue. See the informative and responsible article: Suborned in the U.S.A. The birth-certificate controversy is about Obama’s honesty, not where he was born.

By former federal prosecutor, Andrew C. McCarthy http://article.nationalreview.com/print/?q=ZmJhMzlmZWFhOTQ3YjUxMDE2YWY4ZDMzZjZlYTVmZmU=

Now it is entirely possible that there is not one issue amiss in Obama’s long form birth certificate and other pertinent records; still, to be sure, Obama's refusal to release this information to the American people to whom he is accountable is divisive and a blatant violation of campaign promises of transparency. This refusal to open this information for public inspection is detrimental to our country by fueling suspicions that something is seriously wrong. There very well may be. Never forget, Obama serves at the pleasure of the people. He is not Greek god from on high.

Consider this: If Obama does not meet the standards of eligibility required by the constitution then not one bill or law he has put his signature on is valid. This is simply staggering to contemplate. The longer this refusal for the American people’s right to know the truth is put off; the greater potential for damage to the country to continue and grow exponentially.

Glenn Beck’s Glass House: Going on in my reproof, Glenn Beck lives in a glass house. It has been said that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. I want Glenn to know that the table can be turned on him for mocking everyday Americans who want Obama to release the documents referred to above. So using the analogy of a glass house as a foil, let’s consider some things that are really dumb

One of the dumbest things many people have ever heard is that a man from up state New York in the 1800’s founded a new religion and is considered to be a biblical prophet, even more important than biblical prophets like Isaiah, Ezekiel and Jeremiah. I’m sure that Glenn Beck would not want you to know a lot of things about his religion. Why, because they are really dumb. Consider the following points that are part of the incredibly dumb belief system started by this man from up state New York:

  • Glenn Beck believes in the complete apostasy of Christianity, and that the Mormon Church is the only true church, in other words, all other churches are wrong and their professors are corrupt (see Mormon First Vision Story)
  • Glenn Beck believes that the Book of Mormon is more trustworthy than the Bible
  • Glenn Beck is a polytheist along with all other Utah Mormons who believe in the existence of many gods scattered throughout the cosmos
  • Glenn Beck believes that a Mormon man can become god. In fact, Glenn Beck hopes to become a polygamous God and rule over his own planet
  • Glenn Beck believes that God has a physical body in spite of the biblical evidence that God is a spirit (John 4:24)
  • Glenn Beck believes that God was once a man who lived on another planet and progressed to godhood
  • Glenn Beck believes that his God is married and has billions of spirit children produced by sexual procreation with his many goddess wives
  • Glenn Beck believes that Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers
  • Glenn Beck rejects the tradition Christian doctrine of the Trinity and believes that his God with a finite glorified body had sexual relations with the Virgin Mary in order for Jesus to be born as a human being because according to Mormonism, if Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit then Jesus would be the son of the Holy Spirit instead of the son of the Mormon Father God
  • Glenn Beck believes that God is limited by his body and cannot be in more than one place at a time

This presentation will show the viewer the incredibly dumb history of how Glenn Beck’s so-called prophet Joseph Smith, founded the Mormon religion and then developed many strange and bizarre beliefs which set Mormonism miles apart from historic Christianity.

Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb…dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb

Glenn Beck has received a tremendous amount of good will exhibited towards him by millions of Americans that do not share his unusual religious beliefs. Hopefully in the future Glenn Beck will be a little more circumspect when it comes to ridiculing his fellow Americans who do not want to be told to shut up and trust the word of an unknown government bureaucrat that every thing is ok. Americans have a right to see Obama’s unreleased pertinent documents regarding his eligibility for high public office.

And finally, I consider Glenn Beck a patriot, in fact, I like him even though he is a Mormon and I am an ex-Mormon. See my Ex-Mormon testimony at:

Recent News:

Glenn Beck contradicts himself!

March 16th, DENVER - Radio and television talk show host Glenn Beck, who previously called the dispute over President Obama's eligibility for office the "dumbest thing I've ever heard," today told Denver host Peter Boyles on his KHOW show that it's not a "winnable argument."

"I haven't looked into it at all," Beck told Boyles on this morning's show. Then he says: "It doesn't matter to me because I don't think you can make the case."

Wow! Glenn has just caught himself in a really dumb contradiction. How could he possibly say "it is not a winnable argument" and "It doesn't matter to me because I don't think you can make the case" after he admits his ignorance on the topic "I haven't looked into it at all?"
