Shilling For Obama

When the "Birther" subject came up on a recent Friday "Factor," if Bill O'Reilly "the giant leprechaun" and his sidekick Glenn Beck, the man who hides his unusual Mormon beliefs about wanting to become a polygamous god ruling over his own planet with his goddess wives in the life hereafter (See my Glenn Beck, the man who lives in a glass house) were not shilling for Obama I don't know what else you can call it.

Both O'Reilly and Beck are smart men, yet their attempts to frame the so-called "Birther" movement as only those who question whether Obama was born in Hawaii completely misrepresents the concerns of millions of Americans and is dishonest on their part.

I do not know the exact break down on how many people question Obama's birth in Hawaii or have other concerns about Obama's eligibility to hold the office of President. One thing is clear, anyone who has looked at Obama's eligibly knows that there are numerous different issues surrounding this story. When O'Reilly and Beck try to paint everyone into one corner of this debate, this is inexcusable and similar to attacking a "straw man" which is a fallacy.

During the "Birther" segment, O'Reilly even said, and I paraphrase, that maybe Obama was not releasing his birth certificate to make people look foolish. Wow! If true, what does this say about Obama? O'Reilly is the one who looks foolish by making such an asinine assertion. If we have a President who refuses to release documents that tell us who he is and what he believes and who has financially supported him in order to make people look foolish, cannot be described by this writer without using profanity.

Some background: Large numbers of Americans question: Why Obama's long form birth certificate hasn't been released, his relocation to Indonesia and possible citizenship there, and his education records K-12 + college along with who financed them, and they believe these to be legitimate questions and issues that all Americans have a right to know.

Quite frankly, being told there are documents on file so shut up is an insult. Release these documents for public inspection, and let the chips fall where they may instead of some bureaucrat dictating that everything is fine and end of story. O'Reilly and Beck should be ashamed of themselves for being gullible enough to believe the government without peeking behind the curtain or looking under the rug. When the giant leprechaun and the polygamous god wanna be insinuate that if you have honest questions about Obama's refusing to release documents you are nuts this is nothing more than a slap in the public's face.

As a layman, yet it is easy to see that there are serious issues and questions involved in this eligibility issue. Please see the informative and responsible article:

Suborned in the U.S.A. The birth-certificate controversy is about Obama’s honesty, not where he was born. By former federal prosecutor, Andrew C. McCarthy.

Speculations on why Obama will not release his long form birth certificate are that it may reveal:

  • Obama is an illegitimate child
  • That he is listed as Mulato or something else
  • That his religion is Muslim
  • There simply may not be a long form document on file

It's entirely possible that there is not one issue amiss in Obama’s long form birth certificate and other pertinent records; nonetheless, to be sure, Obama's refusal to release this information to the American people, to whom he is accountable, is divisive and a blatant violation of campaign promises of transparency. These broken promises for transparency are detrimental to our country by fueling suspicions that something is seriously wrong.

In closing, never stop demanding transparency from our public officials. Never stop asking questions until you receive satisfactory answers.

Recent News:

Glenn Beck contradicts himself!

March 16th, DENVER - Radio and television talk show host Glenn Beck, who previously called the dispute over President Obama's eligibility for office the "dumbest thing I've ever heard," today told Denver host Peter Boyles on his KHOW show that it's not a "winnable argument."

"I haven't looked into it at all," Beck told Boyles on this morning's show. Then he says: "It doesn't matter to me because I don't think you can make the case."

Wow! Glenn has just caught himself in a really dumb contradiction. How could he possibly say "it is not a winnable argument" and "It doesn't matter to me because I don't think you can make the case" after he admits his ignorance on the topic "I haven't looked into it at all?"
